Reading the NewsGator/NetNewsWire Q&A left me with a few questions:
- When can I get my hands on a NewsGator-enhanced version of NetNewsWire? I really want my subscriptions to sync between my PowerBooks, Mac desktop, and my Treo. Brent, can you make it so, and when? When man, when?!
- Whither MarsEdit?
- How much is the NewsGator Enterprise Server? That sounds like something my company could get into.
And thanks for the 2-year NewsGator sub. If the PowerBook-desktop-Treo RSS ecosystem works out, I’ll be a long-time subscriber.
Oh yeah, and thanks to Sheila for including the parenting section in NNW’s sites drawer. It was pretty cool for Julie and I to see our suggestion implemented so quickly!

#1 – should be within the next few months. But the scenario you describe is exactly what you’ll be able to do – quickly and seamlessly.
#2 – to be frank, we’re still figuring this out. We’d love to hear feedback from users on this.
#3 – the sales guys took away my handy pricing sheet.
But shoot a note over to sales@newsgator.com, and they can fix you up.
Greg – thanks for the comments. I’m looking forward to what lies ahead for NNW (it is, after all, the most used app on all of my Macs).
#1 – Sounds great. I’m already enjoying the mobile web version on my Treo 650. Good stuff.
#2 – To be honest, I stopped using it a while ago in favor of Ecto. MarsEdit is a great app – and I’m sure there are lots of dedicated users – but I was looking for something with a stronger feature set. Of course, given the choice of Brent working on MarsEdit or NNW, I’d pick NNW any day.
#3 – Clair already sent me an email. Thanks.
